The SENTINEL project focuses on improving military camps and operations functioning. It aims at making military camps more efficient and self-reliant, while also easing logistical demands, by providing a flexible and high-capacity energy supply.
SENTINEL will develop and test 17 essential energy capabilities, including cutting-edge energy technologies, improved mobility, digital energy systems, and smart-grid integration. These features will be tried and tested with armed forces in realistic military situations and different climate conditions to ensure they work effectively in actual operations.
